ESET Internet Security Review

ESET, a computer security company founded in Slovakia in 1992. They offer antivirus and firewall products for commercial and private use and were recognized in 2008, 2009 and 2010 as the most successful Slovak company. Selection for only two types of products. Antivirus and smart security suite (names differ depending on the type of device you buy them for. They also offer another suite that is global to all operating systems. This is called ESET Multi-Device Security suite that covers multiple devices (up to 10 ) by license) Therefore, the name not only covers several devices, but also offers you the possibility to combine the system to be protected, Windows, Mac or Android.

Features
As mentioned earlier, Eset Internet Security covers the basics very well, but you shouldn’t wait any longer. It is not always a bad thing. Some loaded programs generally use a lot of memory and slow down your device considerably. You don’t get that with ESET, you reward performance. Smart Security offers you extended features, but again, no additional features are available. They focus on protection rather than prevention and do very well to be fair with ESET.

Safety
Therefore, ESET support is not the best. However, if you have reliable and easy-to-use software, poor support is not a real problem. ESET’s simple user interface and reliable scanning methods make it a fantastic product, not to mention the excellent performance and lack of processing power required to run the program. ESET is generally a leader in identifying new and mutated viruses that are the best in the industry. If you are looking for an antivirus that will protect you from potential internet problems, ESET is worth a try!

Support
ESET’s support area is well designed and clearly shows which direction to go from the beginning. The contact page is easy to find and clearly offers; Email, live chat and business support, as well as a variety of forums that you can access at any time. If you’re in the UK now, the support isn’t great, to say the least: there’s no live chat and to go anywhere you have to fill in a ridiculously long form. The knowledge base doesn’t do the competition justice either, as it only has very limited “knowledge” and only supports installation and activation.

Affordability
ESET Internet Security costs $49.99 per year for 1 device, after just $10 per device. This makes it a relatively inexpensive product in the world of security suites if you have many products, but if you only protect one computer, these are cheaper options. The features you get may not match some of the more expensive products, but the ones it offers are enough and protect your computer very well. If you don’t want to spend a lot, but after a bit of quality protection, you should definitely consider ESET.
