LifeSmart’s new HomeKit is compatible with smart cameras?

LifeSmart’s presence in the West was not what it could be, and with the launch of the Aqara and Mijia devices, which are becoming increasingly common thanks to the final launch of the Aqara center in the United States and Europe, LifeSmart finally seems to want also enter the game. And so, with the official HomeKit certification for their centers earlier this year, they brought many new devices to the table.

A device that was previously missing in the HomeKit series would be a camera. Although the company makes several different models, they are not yet compatible with HomeKit. The good news is that they may be about to launch such a device, since the company previously announced through its Twitter account that a new camera will be launched soon.

Before going too far, this camera has not been officially announced as HomeKit compatible. However, when we asked LifeSmart the obvious question regarding the camera and HomeKit, the cryptic answer was “get ready, stay tuned.” Take it however you want, but it’s fair to say that the company could easily have said it was incompatible or something similar.

We suspect that this camera and the upcoming Cololight Pro, as well as all of its new HomeKit-compatible devices, will be on display at its booth if the company appears at CES 2020.
